Once again, we have a situation where an illegal alien has killed an American citizen thanks to an American city's "sanctuary" policy.  But in this case, the illegal alien was arrested before, and not turned over to federal officials for deportation.  And also in this case, three people lost their lives, among them two children.  The mother is distraught, and appeared on television shows today in anguish.

Make no mistake.  The blood of these innocent American victims is on the hands of the pathetic and radical San Franciso Mayor Gavin Newsom (the "gay marriage" mayor, whose attempts to hand out marriage licenses to homosexuals was shut down by a federal court), and the city's out-of-orbit city council. 

This city is out of control, and although the mayor repealed an act of a former mayor (current California Senator Dianne Feinstein) that forbids city officials from turning in juvenile illegal alien offenders.  The mayor claims that he just came across this law, which is of course ridiculous as he has been in office for years and has been an outspoken supporter of the city's sanctuary policy.

Republicans in the state's legislature tried recently to get a bill passed that would have cut off state funding to sanctuary cities like San Francisco, but it was struck down by the Democrats (big surprise).  Even now, as a mother and wife grieves over the loss of her family at the hands of a man who should never have been in this country to begin with, and who should have been turned over by the city of San Francisco once he was arrested the first time, the city is spending $83,000 of taxpayer money to promote--promote--the fact that it is a sanctuary city to illegals.  Incredible.

The city of San Francisco is allowing American  citizens to be killed.  It is openly and proudly violating at least 3 federal laws, and the President, the Congress, not anyone will step up and punish these radicals.  And so the people of San Francisco continue to be at risk every time they step out their door.

But it's not just San Francisco.  There are an estimated 70 sanctuary cities across the United States, including the usual suspects of New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Denver.  These cities should be boycotted by the American people, their federal funding be pulled away (though they should not be receiving federal money in the first place due to federalism), and the states to which they belong should immediately cut all state funding. 

What is happening in this country is inexcusable, immoral, and illegal.  Will it take rioting in the streets to end illegal immigration and their unfair advantages?  Will it take violence to stop this madness?  One thing you can be sure of--American citizens who participate in such violence will be arrested and prosecuted.  Which is more than can be said for people here illegally.
